For much of my life, I didn’t think of myself as a novelist. I simply knew I was drawn to ideas—especially the questions that shape who we are, how we treat one another, and where our society is headed.

After serving in the U.S. Navy and later working in both the retail and manufacturing industries, I gradually realized that storytelling was the best way to explore those questions. What began as writing commentary evolved into short fiction, and eventually into novels that blend speculative science fiction with philosophical themes.

I don’t write stories merely to entertain. I write stories that invite readers to think—to wrestle with morality, human nature, and the possibilities that lie just beyond the boundaries of what we believe is possible.

Going Way Away is the first novel in the N-Origins universe. It represents years of learning, persistence, revision, and growth—not only as a writer, but as a person. Every page reflects a belief that compelling fiction can challenge us intellectually while remaining deeply human.

Originally from Long Island, New York, I now live near Charlotte, North Carolina, where I continue developing the N-Origins series and exploring the ideas that first inspired me to write.

Life has a way of rewriting us as we move forward. In many ways, I think the best stories do the same.
